The Patek Philippe 466 "Tegola" is an extremely rare pre-World War II Art Deco vintage watch. Launched in 1936 and produced for only two years, it is considered a dream item in the auction market and among collectors. "Tegola" means "roof tile" in Italian, named for its distinctive rectangular curve and stepped case design, resembling roof tiles. The Tegola 466 has an estimated total production of fewer than 100 pieces, all with stainless steel cases. The case was crafted by the legendary Wenger, while the dial was made by the renowned Stern Frères, featuring a unique railway-style minute track and embossed Arabic numerals. Inside, it houses the Cal. 9 manual-winding movement, manufactured by LeCoultre, then cased by Patek Philippe and sold from 1937 onwards.
