Dubey & Schaldenbrand
Presenting a very rare Dubey & Schaldenbrand Carre Cambre single button chronograph aka "Doctor".
Housing a beautiful antique Valjoux 23 modified movement from 1916. The Valjoux 23 debuted in 1916 and was the cornerstone for watch brands like Patek Philippe, Rolex, Heuer and many more for about 60 years. Caliber 23 production ended in the early 1970s.
1916! How is this possible? When a small number of antique movements tucked away were discovered at D & S, they knew they had to create a piece so unique, it would be limited to 25.
Why the moniker Doctor? Look no further than the pulse meter on the dial. Prior to technological advances in the medical field, a pulse was checked in an old-fashioned way.
Dubey & Schaldenbrand left no stone unturned with this gorgeous piece
