The special model commemorates the Moonwatch that appeared in the science fiction Japanese TV show, The Return of Ultraman.

This Moonwatch, part of his monster fighting kit differed from the standard Moonwatch as it featured a bright orange central seconds hand.

In keeping with the retro style of the 1967 Moonwatch a vintage Omega logo is used. The first 3 minutes of the sub dial at 3 o'clock are orange as Ultraman could only stay in super hero mode for 3 minutes. Using the special UV light at the end of the strap changer (which happens to be shaped like Ultraman's beta capsule), you can see a silhouette of Ultraman in the subdial at 9 o'clock.

It comes in a "Monster Attack Team" hexagonal box with additional leather strap and strap changer.
