IWC
The IWC GST (Gold, Steel, Titanium) sports series debuted in the late 1990s and originally consisted of 3 models; chronograph, alarm and a diver’s watch. The alarm was available in all 3 metals but only the steel and gold versions were offered with both white and black dials. All titanium models in the GST line came only with a black dial. In 2000 an additional diver’s watch with depth indicator was added to the line.
This gorgeous titanium GST alarm watch houses the IWC caliber 917 movement (base Jaeger LeCoultre 916 caliber), is hand finished with over 220 parts and 22 rubies. The unique alarm mechanism vibrates rapidly, striking a pin which is secured to the base of the watch and extends to the heart of the movement. When the alarms goes off you can also feel a slight vibration on the wrist. Fully wound the alarm lasts for less than 20 seconds.
